Legacy Program
The Satir Legacy Program is dedicated to ensuring the succession of quality training in the Satir Growth Model. We invite practitioners familiar with and actively using this transformative model in their practices to deepen their understanding and enhance their skills under the guidance of master trainers, in preparation for training the next generation in the Satir Model.
Our vision is to secure a future where the insights and methods of the Satir Growth Model continue to flourish, supported by well-trained and passionate practitioners. This program is a bridge between the foundational work of Virginia Satir and the future of therapeutic practice.
This program is under the direction of Jean McLendon and Regina Taggart and includes a variety of guest trainers and support staff.
CURRICULUM & OBJECTIVES
To equip practitioners with skills to manage chaos and conflict effectively.
To validate each participant's worth and foster a safe learning environment.
To seamlessly integrate learnings from "here and now" experiences into practice.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
The Satir Legacy Program is designed for advanced practitioners who have experience with the Satir Growth Model in their therapy, coaching, or organizational work and are dedicated to advancing their capability to teach, facilitate, and embody the model in complex and diverse settings.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED
This program is designed for people who have been studying Satir for several years and are already acquainted with our programs.

Registration & Fees
The program registration fee is $8700 . The payment schedule is as follows:

Jean McLendon, LCSW LMFT - As a Master Trainer with decades of experience alongside Virginia Satir, Jean brings unparalleled depth to the program.
Regina Ragan Taggart, MSW, LCSW - With extensive global experience and a long-standing collaboration with Jean, Regina exemplifies the commitment to spreading the Satir Model worldwide.
Carol Holcomb, MSW, JD - Carol brings to the Center fifteen years of social work experience and more than thirty years as a licensed attorney, and most recently a Satir Life Coach.
